Outscoring visiting Montevallo 49-17 in the second half and using a 22-1 run in the fourth quarter, sparked the Valdosta State women's basketball team to its fourth-straight victory Thursday evening at The Complex, with an 83-44 victory. Senior Crystal Townsend recorded her third double-double of the season behind a season-high 24 points and 12 rebounds. The 83 points by the Lady Blazers marked a season-high.
