The Valdosta State women's basketball team used a 24-11 second quarter and a 15-0 run to start the frame en route to a 66-59 victory at Shorter Saturday afternoon as the Lady Blazers improved to 16-7 overall and 10-5 in Gulf South Conference play. Sophomore Kayla Bonilla had a team-high 17 points in the game.
