BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Valdosta State women's basketball team was selected third in the Gulf South Conference Coaches Poll, announced Friday by the league office on the first official day of basketball practice for the 2021-22 season. VSU garnered two first-place votes and 122 points, while Union led the way with ten first-place nods and 142 points. VSU graduate student Kwajelin Farrar was one of five players selected to the 2021-22 Preseason All-GSC Team.
