AMERICUS, Ga. – In its first road test of the season, the Valdosta State women's basketball team rallied from down by as many as 12 points, used a big fourth quarter and a 13-2 start in overtime for a 90-79 victory at Georgia Southwestern Thursday evening. Sophomore Erin Whalen and senior Kiersten Nelson each had 24 points to lead the team, while Nelson had a career-high 16 rebounds.
