VALDOSTA, Ga. – Following the program's first outright Gulf South Conference regular season title, the Valdosta State women's basketball team had strong representation on the All-GSC teams announced Tuesday afternoon. Lady Blazer junior Kalifa Ford was named GSC Player of the Year and earned first team all-league honors, while head coach Deandra Schirmer earned Coach of the Year honors. Seniors Aleisha Curry and Taylor Searcey were named second team all-GSC.
